TECNOHM | ELECTRIC CABLES – ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS
Our general catalogue is divided into four families of cables, designed to suit the application for which they are intended:
ENERGY CABLES:
These are cables designed to distribute low- and medium-voltage energy in fixed or mobile, interior or exterior, overhead or underground installations, and to supply industrial equipment.
These cables may incorporate mechanical protection (reinforcement) to provide protection from external agents and to make them flameproof and thus suitable for installation in classified zones.
Upon request they may also be supplied with hydrocarbon-resistant (HR) sheaths.
HIGH-SAFETY CABLES:
These are used basically in fixed installations of distribution or supply to low-voltage units in interior facilities, on sites that require a high level of anti-fire safety, and on premises used by the public in accordance with the different ITC (Complementary Technical Instructions) established in the Low Voltage Regulations.
As in the Energy family, they may also be fitted with mechanical and/or electromagnetic protection, should protection preventing the generation of parasitic currents in other circuits be required.
CONTROL CABLES:
These are used to interconnect the command and control of low-voltage units.
As in the above families, they may also be fitted with mechanical and/or electromagnetic protection, should protection preventing the generation of parasitic currents in other circuits be required.
INSTRUMENTATION CABLES:
These are cables for connecting measurement, control and signalling instruments.
They may come with collective, or individual and collective, electrostatic shielding to prevent interference and as in the above cases may feature reinforcement, which makes their mechanical performance excellent.
